Ryan joined the Preferred team at the beginning of 2025, bringing with him experience in financial markets and quantitative analysis. He began his career in sales and trading on the ETF and Crypto desk at Susquehanna International Group, a role he landed after graduating from Brown University where he studied economics. His participation in Brown's poker club helped lead him to his initial opportunity at SIG.  After his time at SIG, Ryan worked with and raised money for a quantitative hedge fund. Ryan appreciates the science of decision making in a world of incomplete information.

Ryan is a loving husband and soon-to-be father. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and following Philadelphia sports.
